Your Mama Is NOT A Horse and Other Chinese Revelations

Eddie TsangAt this remarkable, one-of-a-kind summer day camp, humorist and master teacher Eddie Tsang is back by popular demand with a full week of insightful, side-splitting activities for campers to explore the culture of China. Activities include Kung Fu, Calligraphy, Games, Paper Cutting, Exploration of Mythology and Folk Tales, Celebration of Holidays, Food, Language, Philosophy, and History. Cultural discovery has never been so much fun!

Eddie Tsang was born in China and moved to Hong Kong when he was 11 years old. There he finished college and came to America, where he earned his Master’s degree at Indiana University. Now retired from teaching in the Cedar Rapids school district, Mr. Tsang conducts workshops and presentations about various aspects of Chinese culture.  Eddie has been a Cultural Amabassador for CultureALL since 2005.

The camp is most appropriate for students in grades 3-6.  If there is space, a few older campers (grades 7-8) may be admitted.  The cost is $225 per camper ($170 for residents of Windsor Heights.)  Campers should bring lunch and a snack each day and wear comfortable clothing.

Use the online registration form above to pay by credit card or to make a reservation and mail your check to CultureALL.  Space is limited, so reserve your child's place now.  The final day for registration will be Friday, June 30.
